Terms of Service
Last updated: 27 June 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Parmeshwari (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. The Service
Parmeshwari is an educational and reflective library about Hinduism, presented as stories that can be read at different depths, in English and Hindi. The content is offered for personal, non-commercial learning. We aim to present a respectful, non-sectarian view that acknowledges the plurality of a living tradition. Content is for learning and reflection only, and is not religious, legal, medical, or professional advice.
2. Accounts
- If you create an account, provide accurate information and keep your login secure.
- You are responsible for activity under your account.
- You must be at least 18, or use the Service under the supervision of a parent or guardian.
3. Free content & membership
- The Foundations path is free to read.
- A paid membership to open the wider library is planned but not yet available. Until it opens, no payment is taken and no purchase is offered.
- When membership opens, prices will be shown in Indian Rupees (₹) and payment will be handled by a third-party payment provider. We will not store your card or UPI details. A receipt may be provided for your payment. Taxes, where applicable, are handled according to the payment provider and applicable law.
4. Acceptable use
- Do not copy, redistribute, scrape, or resell our content.
- Do not attempt to bypass access controls or security measures.
- Do not use the Service to harass others or to produce hateful or unlawful content.
5. Intellectual property
The compilation, the original written lessons, the design, and the software are our intellectual property. The underlying narratives and scriptures are part of a shared cultural and religious heritage. Access to the content does not transfer ownership of it.
6. Accuracy & disclaimers
Our lessons are prepared with care and are still under human review; the Hindi is a draft. Content may contain errors or simplifications and should not be treated as a final or authoritative account of any tradition. It is not a substitute for guidance from qualified teachers or elders. The Service is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable Indian law, including the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
7. Termination
You may stop using the Service and request deletion of your account at any time (see the Privacy Policy). We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms.
8. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in India.
9. Changes & contact
We may update these Terms; material changes will be notified in-app or by email. Questions? See Contact.
